Pre Owned 1976 Yamaha FG-600S Sunburst Acoustic Guitar With Case
If you're in the know and on the hunt for a Nippon Gakki White Label-era Yamaha made in Japan, then scope out this excellent FG-600S acoustic guitar with a sunburst finish from 1976. That was a big year - the Viking I spaceship landed on Mars, the movie Rocky came out, and The Pretender was released by Jackson Browne. And, of course, this Yamaha acoustic was built with finest materials and craftsmanship. It's stood the test of time and is now here, looking great and sounding amazing.
This Yamaha FG-600S was built in the tradition of classic square-shoulder acoustics and gives you full, rich tones with excellent bass response for big chordal playing. The body is composed of the time-honored tone-wood combination of a spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The body is expertly bounded and has an authentic vintage patina. The set mahogany neck has a comfortable slim profile with a rosewood fingerboard with the impressive block inlays.
The sunburst finish has a reddish vintage hue that is definitely reminiscent of the fantastic '60s finishes. It comes with a wonderfully ornate etched pickguard that adds to its vintage style.
This is a canon of a guitar is perfect for any style but definitely excels with flatpicking playing. This fine vintage instrument is in excellent condition and comes with a hardshell case. It's been vetted and setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. For those that crave vintage authenticity and perhaps a bit of a unique flair, but at a great price, this guitar is a great find.
