Pre Owned 1954 Bassman Clone 1x12 Lacquered Tweed Guitar Amp Combo
If you're looking for those fantastic tweed-era tones of the legendary Bassman, you got to check out this inspired clone of one from 1954! This amp is the spitting image of what the vintage ones are. You get the circuitry, components, and of course the tweed-era large chassis that comes with a powerful 12" speaker.
What we have here is a tweed bassman preamp, mated to a modified tweed deluxe back end (no rectifier tube), in a 1x12 combo with a cool mid 60s ceramic Jensen.
This clone amp combo was well constructed and has all of the right parts to make it sound amazing. The electronics are styled after the original circuitry that made the Bassman such an important amp. It gives you a breath of warm clean tones with plenty of headroom but also a range of overdriven when cranked up. You have the classic two channel inputs; Normal and Bright, with individual volume controls, Bass, Treble, and Presence. This one also features a Master Volume which allows to crank the front-end but the output volume low. So even if you want those sweet driven tones you can have them at near bedroom volume levels.
This 22-watt powerhouse of an amp comes with a vintage (1965) 12" Jensen speaker that has plenty of headroom but also delivers the warmth of its tube tones. You can blast it and wake up the neighborhood, but also roll it back to clean up nicely. It ends up being a versatile amp.
This amp is in good condition and has been tested to perfect working order.
