It might be half the size of Mayones custom series basses, but the Cali4 carries the same design philosophy & great tone, playability and highest attention to build quality and ergonomy.
Neck-through-body construction, beautiful top wood, highest quality fit & finish – no step has been skipped to ensure that Cali4 basses are 100% up to Mayones quality you expect. It has also the additional feature of a perfect travel companion due to its compact size. It’s easy to carry, pack and set up to play everywhere & every time. Not only that, but you can plug headphone directly into the bass.The goal and intention is to save as much wood as they can in the production pipeline – the Cali4 is built from leftovers of quality woods used for the full-size instruments, which are too small to use in a regular-sized instrument. It`s available in a limited number of instruments per year - we always try to grab as many as we can.
This one in particular is quite stunning, featuring a 5A Quilted Mahogany Top and shows the exotic wood grain beautifully. A nice touch is the Ebony fretboard. Every Cali4 is unique, and this is the first we've had like this - and we love it.
Mayones Cali4 basses are very hard to come by, and always go fast, so don't lets this one go by!
