First released in 1969, the Deluxe saw the introduction of the mini humbucker to the Les Paul lineup. Mini humbuckers retain the hum-free performance of their full-sized cousins but with a somewhat clearer and brighter tonality. This beautiful clarity will help you cut through the mix without sounding harsh. Whether on the stage or in the studio, this Les Paul will give you what you need.
The new Deluxe has features that were inspired by those early models from the 1970s, with a non-weight relief mahogany body and bound maple top, a bound mahogany neck with a Rounded C profile, topped with vintage-style Keystone tuners, and a Graph Tech nut. It's loaded with a traditional Les Paul control layout (2 Volume and 2 Tone controls) and wired with Orange Drop® capacitors.
This is a wonderful recreation of a classic guitar, done with the precision that only Gibson can nail. It has a stunning Gold Top finish in nitrocellulose lacquer to keep it authentic. The guitar has the vibe, sound and feel of the original, and is unique in the Les Paul family - it's the only model with these pickups. A hardshell case is included.
