Fender Custom Shop 1957 Stratocaster Relic Faded Aged Daphne Blue Electric Guitar

Ever since the Stratocaster came out in 1954, players everywhere have been drawn to the sound, feel and look of this legendary model.  Over the years, it evolved in many ways, but for many, it's all about the 50's era Strat.  And for some, the 1957 edition is "the one".  Why?  This Custom Shop '57 Strat right here might answer that.

The main thing to note is the shape of the 1-piece Quartersawn Maple neck.  It has a 57 style Soft "V".  While not for everyone, for those that know, this unique carve provides a level of comfort that is hard to find on anything else.  Throughout the years, most players have gravitated towards a 9.5" radius and 6105 (narrow tall) frets - so those are the two tweaks that we made on this guitar.  We also chose to have a Heavy Relic treatment given to the back of the neck, to maximize the "broken in" feel. 

The alder body is super lightweight and will fit snugly against your body due to the '57 Strat style deep body contours.  The lacquer finish with heavy checking on the Faded Aged Daphne Blue finish gives it a classic, old-school Fender vibe.

Handwound Custom Shop 57 Strat pickups (normally an upcharge) give you the classic 50's chime with enough sizzle to cut through the mix.  If you want the most classic of Strat tones, this is it right here.
