Vintage 1964 Fender Deluxe Tube Guitar Amp Combo
A 60s era Fender Deluxe is one of the most desired amps of all-time and we have a great one here! Straight of 1964, this non-reverb Deluxe amp is a great showing of why amps like these are so desirable.
This amp is the epitome of excellent amp tone. It provides a bed of full cleans, with sparkle at the top end, and is extremely responsive to your playing. This era of Fender Deluxe has been long imitated both by other amp manufacturers, pedal makers, and amp simulators and plugins. With 22-watts of power you have plenty of headroom for any playing situation, whether its home, stage, or studio. With a 12" speaker you get the perfect tonal combination.
This amp is definitely not all original, but it brings that original tone to the table. Here's a list of what's going on with it:
- Items Replaced: Speaker, Grill Cloth, all Filter Capacitors, all Bypass Capacitors, Power Transformer (with a Mercury Magnetics AXIOM), 100k ohm Supply Resistors, ,Bypass Resistors, Bias Capacitors, Bias Resistors, Plate Resistors, and Red Light Jewel replaced with Blue one.
- Items Added: 3-Pring AC Cord, .005 Disk Capacitor added to stop Tremolo clicking
- Items Missing: Fender badge, Footswitch
- Work done by Amp Tech: Bias set, cleaned and lubed all controls, tested all tubes, had to replace two “super low” output Electro Harmonix preamp tubes.
