This Ibanez FR350 is built with an Iceman-style offset body shape with Okoume wood. This body provides a bright articulate sound and is quite sturdy. The body is especially stylish with its high gloss black finish and it has deep cutaways for full access to the entire fingerboard. The FRM 3-piece Okoume/Maple set neck provides stability and excellent vibration transfer. The bound ebony fingerboard has impressive acrylic and Abalone block inlays. Its 22 narrow and tall frets provide the perfect feel for everything from quick leads, riffs, and complex chords. The GraphTec nut maintains tuning stability and adds sustain.
With its set of DiMarzio Air Classic humbuckers you are set to light the studio or stage. These passive Alnico humbuckers are packed with a wealth of tones to explore. Yes, of course they can bring articulate, touch-sensitive clean tones, but they are DiMarzios, they really explode with gain. Crank up the distortion and hear the difference of pickups, enjoy plenty of crunch and sustain with no compromises. You get the incredible simplicity in the electronics with volume and tone controls with a 3-way selector to find your sounds, and the bridge pickup can be split for versatile single-coil tones.
