Used Squier M-80 Red Electric Guitar

Used And Vintage

Get explosive tones with this rare Squier M-80 in Red - a guitar you definitely don't see very often.  This is a fascinating lost gem from the early to mid 2000s that was designed by legendary custom builder Todd Krause.

Featuring a distinct offset basswood body with a set of sharp, aggressive curves, this guitar offers a refreshing design. The M-80 body is contoured and "slimming" at the edges, which makes it incredibly comfortable for long sessions, whether you're sitting in a bedroom or standing on a stage.

The neck is where the M-80 really shines, offering a shorter 24.75" scale length, a spec more commonly found on Gibsons, which gives the strings a "slinky," easy-to-bend feel. The bolt-on mahogany neck features a comfortable "C" profile and a rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets perfect for high-energy riffs and fast lead lines.

This Red rocker is loaded with two high-output Squier humbuckers designed to deliver a thick, saturated crunch. These pickups are wired to a straightforward 2-volume, 2-tone setup, allowing you to "blend" your middle position or preset your "rhythm" and "lead" volumes independently. The hardware is rugged and reliable, featuring an Adjusto-Matic bridge with a stopbar tailpiece for solid intonation and maximum sustain.

This Squier M-80 is a cult classic that is massively cool and it's in good condition - it came to us with some honest player wear but cleaned up nicely.  The techs in our shop have given the guitar a full setup, so it's perfectly and is ready to go.
