You can switch between "Stock" or "Fat" response which gives you more distorted low end. The other switch allows to choose between "Stock" or "Mosfet" clipping which gives you an extra edge. You get simple 3-knob controls with Volume, Distortion, and Filter, which is a filter sweep for tone.
