Hand-wired onto a turret board with cloth-covered wire and bespoke Soursound transformers, the Creamer is Tim Marcus’s ultimate amp of the small-format American tube amp. It delivers a rich, touch-responsive clean tone that is versatile enought to also provide that sweet harmonic breakup as you push the volume, making it equally at home in a quiet studio or a mic’d club gig.
What truly separates the Creamer from its vintage ancestors is its incredible versatility. It features an adjustable cathode bias circuit, allowing you to swap between 6V6 power tubes (for 20 watts of classic warmth and grit) and 6L6 tubes (for increased headroom and a bolder low-end) without needing a technician for a re-bias. This chameleon of an amp is further supported by a rear-mounted impedance switch and optional power scaling, giving you the ability to achieve that "edge of breakup" tones at any volume level.
