Pre-Owned Guild FS 46-CE Crossroads Series Natural Acoustic Electric With OHSC

Head on over to the crossroads of great acoustic electric tones with this Guild FS-46CE Crossroads Series acoustic electric in its Natural finish. This is a rarer Guild from the 1980's that brings you quality acoustic tones with modern electronic flexibility.
This Guild features a wonderful Natural finish that has transformed beautifully over the last four decades into a deep, vintage butterscotch-like hue. The body itself is a heavily chambered mahogany body paired with a solid spruce top that provides genuine acoustic overtones without the feedback headaches of a traditional hollow body. It features a slender mahogany neck with a 24.75" scale length that feels quite similar to a vintage electric guitar. It comes with a rosewood fingerboard with a whopping 24 frets, something very unique for an acoustic electric. The single sharp Florentine cutaway provides plenty of access to the upper frets, while the unique, routed oval soundhole gives the guitar a distinct aesthetic.
Equipped with the Fishman TASS system, you have an electronics system that lets you plug and play anywhere you want. You have a volume and tone control to dial-in your sounds.
The guitar is great condition considering its age, with normal player wear and marks on the body, but nothing major. The techs in our shop have vetted and set it up to play perfectly. And, quite importanly, this one comes with its original hardshell case (it would be hard, if not impossible, to find an aftermarket case that fits it probably).
For the collector or the performer seeking a rare piece of Guild history that offers the comfort of a electric with the voice of a spruce-top acoustic, this Crossroads Series model is an exceptional find.
